Donors have first priority for the use of the scanner. To sign
up, look at the schedule below and then use the form at the bottom
of the page to schedule an available time. If your slides are organized,
it takes about 5 minutes to set up a batch scan. Depending on the
resolution and quality of scan you want, each slide takes between
1 and 4 minutes. Therefore, allocate about 1 hour for every batch
of 50 slides you wish to scan at a "good quality" (~5MB
scans).

The slide scanner schedule is completely unmoderated. If you sign
up for a time that is already taken then the "Date Reservation
Made" date will be used to determine who has priority for that
time. The GIS lab is typically open from 9:00AM to 6:00PM during the
week and closed on the weekends. The slide scanner will be available
during typical lab hours for drop-in use as well.
